Awesome!

We spent a night at the Hilton in Cancun since we had an early flight out of the airport. I had booked on Priceline and got a very good rate. We were awed by the view of the ocean fand beach rom our "sit out" balcony. View of the resort from our room was beautiful. The hotel was well kept and the grounds were immaculate. We really enjoyed our one night stay and wished we could have stayed at least another night.

Loved it!

I was traveling with 2 young teens, and we all loved the hotel. The staff was so friendly & helpful that I felt like they had become friends by the end of my staff. The room was a little small, but it was great to have our own veranda & the beds were very comfortable! I was worried about the cost of food since its not an all inclusive, but I found the prices to be very reasonable. The breakfast was great, but the burgers & nachos were pretty ordinary. The pool was fabulous - probably one of the best in the area. I liked the multi levels, swim-up bar & the infinity pool. We ended up parasailing; we bought the tickets at the hotel pool & went down to the beach & got right on. Even that was reasonably priced -- $55 per person. We felt very safe. We also ended up renting a car to drive to Xcaret instead of the $150/per person tour you can get from the hotel. I'd recommend this -- it saved us money, gave us flexibility, and was an easy drive.

We went there for the first time and it was for our honeymoon. We was extremely impressed and happy with the location of the hotel and the service in which was provided. The hotel had is own private beach and the scenery from the hotel was breathe taking! The hotel was as luxury as the pictures on line, and will not hesitate to recommend it to someone. We are looking forward to our return!! overall the Hilton Hotel was outstanding and made it that more memorable for us on our honeymoon.

Beautiful Hotel

The Hilton is a beautiful property located at the very beginning of the hotel strip. It has breath-taking lush grounds with several water pools. The lobby is open and very airy with lots of natural light. Room was clean, linens and towels smelled fresh. It was a very good size room with good a/c and ceiling fan. Ocean-view rooms are worth the extra cost. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I found the hotel restaurant to be rather poor with food quality and selection. The fitness centre was also a disappointment as the equipment was old or not functional. The beach front was absolutely stunning. Crystal blue water and white sand. Plenty of lounge chairs and towels available with prompt service to match. There are theme nights with open buffet dinner by the pool but again the food was a let down. Overall the hotel is perfect for the single traveler, couples and parents with kids. The only complaint was the food but there are several restaurants a short taxi ride away.

Hilton Cancun Beach and Golf Resort

The Hilton’s surroundings were beautiful: gorgeous swimming pools, Jacuzzis, pretty fountains, and grounds. The lobby was very clean, shiny, and beautiful, plus the staff was very friendly. The rooms were really not what I would call "deluxe;" they were really average, with a small balcony, no carpet, and an air-conditioner that surprisingly worked too good - it was COLD, until you opened the balcony to even it out. The hotel’s room service from their four restaurants was not very good food-wise, although service was good. The pizza was worse than most frozen pizzas here. The TV had only about 20 channels, mostly in Spanish, despite mostly English-speaking guests.

We had did not get the inclusive "package," figuring we'd go out for dinner at least, which was a big mistake, because the prices are HIGH!!! If the hotel is just a sleepover spot for you, then it’s an okay place, but expensive.

I wasn't able to play golf as originally planned due to a broken foot, but what I saw of the golf course looked very nice and well maintained. If you're a resort guest its $125 per round - not really unexpected for a resort course. Overall, the Cancun Hilton would rate just okay to us.
