Never again until management changes

  • January 6, 2008

What sort of hotel manager with any experience would perform construction on a holiday and bowl game weekend? Both Saturday and Monday, two elevators (of the four) in the 14 story hotel were shut down even though there were service elevators near by. As an "elite guest" I was given a room by the service elevator so I could hear the housekeeping service yell to each other across the floor in the morning. I could just hear the construction drills but a friend staying just above the construction said it started at 8:00am. Also he, along with a few other guests, complained that they didn't have housekeeping during their entire visit.

Terrible hotel for the money

The service was bad which includes front desk personnel, maid service and parking attendants. The business center was a disaster and was pricey as well. I would never stay here again. Very disappointing.

Great Service but terrible accomodations

The Hotel was in a great location. The food was good at the restaurant. The room was terrible. There was a hole in the ceiling, part of the ceiling around the A/C vent was open, the bed was harder than the floor, found hair on the supposed clean sheets, the bathroom was as small as the airplanes, the shower curtain was nasty as well as the floor and tile, the faucet in the shower was corroded and broken and the towels were hard and dingy. I was extremely disappointed.

Disappointed

This is not an original Doubletree Hotel. Bathroom extremely small compared to other hotels at same price. Coke machines didn't work, didn't get a refund as requested. Heard music on 11th floor from a dance on the 16th floor. Nothing like I expected for a Doubletree.
