This hotel is run down

We expected better from Doubletree. The room does not meet the price. Good location though, on the perimeter of the french quarter so you're not "in it".

Stayed here 2 nights during the Sugar Bowl. Bed was very comfortable and gave a good night's sleep. The staff was not helpful, not knowledgeable and the valet staff was totally inept. Only one chair in the room and that was a desk chair. Bed ...Read more
