The Showboat Branson Belle

We boarded around 11am and visited the gift shop and took some photos. Then we went to our table. We were served at noon, and the food was very good. After dessert, we went outside and viewed the lake. An announcement regarding the beginning of the show was made, and we returned to our table for the show. We heard a lot of wonderful Christmas music, and two different acts followed. Our favorite was Price & McCoy. They did a lot of acrobatic tricks and were very entertaining. We had a great time.

Table Rock Dam

Table Rock Dam is a great site to see especially when they are letting out water. I have attached some pictures that will do all the speaking it needs to do. I would say this is a must-see while you are in town. They offer tours and on both sides of the dam are service roads so you can get some great pictures along with a view of Tabel Rock Lake, Taneycomo Lake, and all of Branson. They have a great fish hatchery that is also worth the stop. Make sure that you have a few quarters so you can buy fish food for them. Even if you decided to be cheap and not spend the quarter hold your hand out above the holding tanks and the trout will go NUTS jumping and fighting thinking that they will miss out of the food if they don't. If you have kids TAKE THE QUARTERS becasue its a LOT of fun and they will remember it for years!

The lake is beautiful, calm, and relaxed. We found a spot that is full of fish and quiet. It was loads of fun and we spent quality family time at this spot, just the family and the lake.

Table Rock Lake Boating/Sailing

I was with my family and they own a pontoon boat. We spent the entire day touring Table Rock Lake. We went swimming a couple of times during the day in shallow coves that the boat could glide up to and avoid the other boaters. We had a great time touring the lake and even went to a drive-up pizza dock. We had to walk up the hill to the pizza place, but it was unique to have the drive-up pizza dock. Later in the week, we went by boat to the Bass Pro Restaurant near the lake and had some of the best food to be found around Branson, MO. You really need to visit Table Rock Lake for more fun in Branson, MO.

Table Rock Lake Fishing

I had fished for bass at Watts Lake, Fort Loudon, and Boone Dam areas in East Tennessee long ago. My favorite way to relax and have a great escape from work is to fish.

When Loy's father, Loy Sr., invited me to go fishing at Table Rock, I was ready to go. Loy showed up with the Bass Pro boat with a 275 outboard motor, so I thought it would be a bouncy day on the lake. The wind was calm most of the morning, so we had real easy rides to the hot spots. Loy really knows the lake and bass.
