My best friend, Doris, joined my husband and me on our annual trip to Branson, Missouri. Branson is decorated for Christmas, and the Christmas shows are as good as ever. We had a wonderful time!!

Our unit was in the middle building & we had excellent views of Tablerock Lake.
Best Things Nearby:
Silver Dollar City and Tablerock Lake are the two best things about the resort.

Best Things About the Resort:
It is in the country and is very quiet and peaceful.

Resort Experience:
We had a two-bedroom lock-off unit, and each of the bedrooms had a king-size bed. The unit was very nice and spacious. It was tastefully decorated, and we enjoyed staying in it. We had a screened-in balcony just off the living room, and we loved sitting on the balcony, enjoying the views of Tablerock Lake.

Branson Yacht Club

We enjoyed our time aboard the Showboat Branson Belle.
We boarded around 11am and visited the gift shop and took some photos. Then we went to our table. We were served at noon, and the food was very good. After dessert, we went outside and viewed the lake. An announcement regarding the beginning of the show was made, and we returned to our table for the show. We heard a lot of wonderful Christmas music, and two different acts followed. Our favorite was Price & McCoy. They did a lot of acrobatic tricks and were very entertaining. We had a great time.

The Christmas lights of Silver Dollar City help visitors get in the Christmas spirit.
At Christmas, Silver Dollar City is a wonderland. The beautiful lights are everywhere and beautiful music abounds. We received a map of the park when we entered and picked out the music shows we wanted to see. This year, we only went to three shows, plus the Light Parade. Next year, we plan to arrive when the park opens and visit all of the shows. Then we will leave the park, get some rest, and return to the park when it gets dark. We will then enjoy the beautiful lights and take photos.

We enjoyed seeing Jim Stafford and his daughter perform.
The Jim Stafford Christmas Show is made up of two parts. The first half of the show is similar to Jim's usual comedy and music show. The second half is the Christmas show and includes his wife, Annie, their little daughter, G.G., and their son, Schaffer Ed. The whole family is very talented, and their musical performances were very entertaining. The show is a family-oriented, clean, and wholesome event, and we highly recommend it.

Andy Williams has a wonderful Christmas Show!
The Andy Williams Christmas Show is an evening of wonderful, clean, and wholesome family entertainment. We heard Andy sing many of our favorite Christmas carols, and we laughed at his jokes. He has several very talented singers and dancers on his show, and we loved seeing and hearing all of them. The show was wonderful, and we had a great time. This was our second year to see Andy Williams, and we highly recommend the show.
