Table Rock Lake

I have never been a great fisher. I don't think it has so much to do with being female as with being impatient! Find yourself a quiet public dock down at Indian Point, listen to the birds chirp at sunrise or sunset and bring a couple boxes of worms. There are a lot of small perch that will bite fast, but if you cast far and deep you will catch the occasional bass or cat. You can get a fishing pole at the Local Wal-Mart for under $20, a 3-day license for $15 if you're from out of state. It's very nice to be surrounded by the woodsy lake area and someone you love while feeling the tug of your fishing line! The water is clean, so feel free to jump in for a swim if you want!
