A June 2002 trip to Branson by americanmaid

Quote: Ozark Mountain region is very scenic and they serve Blackberry Cobbler at all the restaurants. This is hospitality at its best.

Best Things Nearby:Tablerock Lake, horseback riding, shows, shopping, dining.Best Things About the Resort:Kept like new! Beautiful decor. Enough linens! BIG rooms!Resort Experience:The condo was very spacious. The crickets at night sang the lake water lapped against the shore to lull into a restful sleep. It was gorgeous and we would like to go back someday. Unit Type: 2 Bedroom Activities: Excellent ...Read More

Food was good. The service was excellent and friendly. This is the perfect place to eat and then "walk the town" or ride the great go-cart tracks in Branson

Just waking up on this lake site was worth the trip. We flew into Fayetteville, AK and drove through Eureka Springs (what a treat). Reading the road signs was a bit tricky and we were delayed about an hour. But it was beautiful scenery.

Shopping in Branson was fun and there were many brand name outlet shops. We drove to Lambert's, home of the "throwed roll", and it was absolutely the best home-cooked meal ever. And sooo much of it was served to us.

We went to the Jim Stafford show one night and we laughed til we cried.

Horseback riding was challenging but fun because of the rocky terrain.
