Place Was Awesome - New Renovations!!!

Place Was Awesome - New Renovations!!!

Puerto Rico is Heaven on Earth!!! I have travel the Globe and must admit that this Island is possess with divine people, culture, art and fine dining!

The Hotel was awesome, as I obtained a suite facing the amazing ocean. Can you believe it, former President Clinton was staying here at the same time I was! (not with Monica L, but some other girl) Secret Service Agents all over making sure Paparaziz stayed out!

The only fault with the Hotel is their "Service" which is NOT impressive at all, below standard and poor. The Hotel is quite expensive and I expected good service which I didnt obtained or anyone else for that matter. The untrained staff needs to be properly trained and no GM on site for quality control. On the other hand, the Casino was very good, well managed and quite fun....

If you are on vacation, and expect service this is NOT the place to stay. If you want to hide out, then do as Bill Clinton does...stay here!

Nonetheless, Puerto Rico in general is truly heaven on Earth. Their cuisine food is every where, their lechon, pasteles, alcapurrias, morcillas, and caribbean drinks are to die for.

The people are charming and always happy with a smile to service you in any way possible. Tourist in Puerto Rico are well respected and safeguarded contrary to other nations!!!

If I ever retired, old San Juan would be the place to rest with their Spanish architectural buildings and the sound of the cathedral bells will suffice me for ever...

Conrad Hotel Stay

I stayed at the Conrad from Fri July 3rd to Sun July 5th. I was sent to 3 different rooms because the 1st wasn't ready, the 2nd was on a floor with a prom group, and the 3rd had not been occupied in a long while and was dirty and dusty. The hotel restaurant prices were quite high and the service and speed were very slow. The checkout process was very long and the in room checkout service was not working. The casino, pool, and fitness room are nice and well stocked. The location is good and close to San Juan. Parking is not free unless you get your ticket stamped at the casino. All an all, I was disapointed with the overall experience and probably will go somewhere else in the future.

Best Hotel in Condado Plaza Hands Down

The hotel staff took our bags from the minute we stepped into the hotel. The bellhop was friendly and came up and explained every single detail of our room. They let us check-in 4 hours early and our stay even came with perks...extra money... they gave us just for choosing to stay with them. The restaurants in the hotel are pricey, but they do have drink specials all day at a few places. The food at the restaurants was absolutely delicious. The beach and lagoon are right outside and the views from the balcony are stunning. The brightly colored interior of the hotel gives it a very youthful feel that I loved. My fiance and I had a very romantic getaway and didn't run into very many children except near one of the pools. Check out was a breeze and the rooms are more beautiful than the pictures even depict. They had events all week that were within walking distance and the area was very safe. We walked to different restaurants at night the whole week we stayed. Take it from me, don't get ripped off by the tour guides, take the bus to old san juan and a ferry to the bacardi factory if you want to go. The tours are around $40 - $50 for both, but the bus is only $0.75 (exact change only) and the ferry is less than $3. Definately do a rainforest tour and some snorkeling if you can.

The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. the travel desk was great to have. The food at the hotel was good but expensive. We mostly ate out. We rented a car. The rain forest, kayaking in the bioluminescent bay and the catamaran snorkling trips were all tremendous fun!
