Great Place to Stay, Eat, Swim & Play

  • July 28, 2008

This is our 3rd return visit to Terribles. The room was quite nice, with 42" television, the bed was quite comfortable and the room was very clean. The check-in was quick, and we received free slot play when we checked in. We requested extra pillows and house-keeping had them in our room very quickly. We ate at the Buffet a few times and found the food very enjoyable and a terrific price, especially with the coupons we received at check-in. Terribles full serve restuarant, the Bouganvillea, however is a much different story. We have tried both breakfast and dinner and were qreatly disappointed both times. The meal and the service were poor. Overall, a very enjoyable vacation, and it is our hotel of choice.

Not That Great

This hotel is fairly close to the convention center, so if your goal is focused on the event this place is acceptable. I chose it because I read they had Internet access and was surprised to be told the wireless access was accross the road at Starbucks. Be sure to bring a cord for your computer, the only access is via phone line. If you are too tired to leave after a day of convention the food is OK, but nothing to write home about. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Great value - our favorite

We have stayed at many hotel in Vegas including Bellagios. Terribles is by far the best value. Great place to get away, not as noisy as most of the Casinos. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Free airport shuttle is great! Food at buffet is plentiful and decent, especially if you get 2 for 1 coupons. Quite a distance from the strip, put if you feel the need to walk off the buffet, this is a great way. We have stayed in old rooms and the new Tower and have been very pleased. New Tower rooms are very plush and key card is needed to access floors so it is very secure. If you sign up for player's club, they will send you deals on rooms throughout the year, some of which were $20 per night!
