I had always enjoyed gambling at Terribles on previous trips to Las Vegas. I decided to try staying there. It was located off the Strip so It didn't have all the touristy glitz and crowds but has a more locals casino feeling. I had arranged and paid for in advance ground transportation, but when I arrived at the airport hundreds of people were waitng in the heat for buses that were not showing up. In desperation I called Terribles and they sent a driver to pick me up. He was very nice and gave me some city guides and a voucher for a free show. At the hotel, check-in was fast and easy. I being a diabetic, requested a refrigerator in my room for my insulin and one was delivered within the hour. The room was very nice and had a big flat screen TV on the wall. It had a coffe maker and when I called the desk for decafe coffee it was delivered within minutes. The comp system was so generous that by my modest level of gambling I was able to get all my meals compted and had enough points to get some neat souveniers from the gift shop. The food in the buffet was very good, especialy the stuffed bonless chicken thighs in mushroom sauce. They had a nice house restaurant too that had very good service. While gambling I recieved free drinks. After tipping the cocktail waitress with a modest tip she kept bringing my favorite drink without being asked. At times I would turn my attention away from the slot machine to find she had already replaced my drink without being asked or waiting for a tip. What I really liked was the pool area that was in a privite court yard with no outside access. It had a hot tub that was really hot, from my experience a rarity at most hotels and resorts. When it was time to leave they had a driver take me back to my airlines check-in at the airport. I felt Terribles was a real bargan for the money and on future trips to Vegas I look forward to staying there again.
