Felt Like a Rock Star

This is my new favorite hotel in Vegas. True, not on the strip, I also didn't care. Perfect size casino, amazing amazing pool! The food was so good, Pink Taco, Rare 120 (get the sea bass and mushrooms as the side). I stayed in a room facing the pool and loved it. The room is black wood and mirrors - really sexy. I hear they are building on as well, so I can't wait to stay there when thats done. I got my room for about $100 a night too on easyclicktravel, from what I heard from another couple we met, that is a lot less than they paid.

Do not stay here. Upon arrival they informed me there is a $ a night hold for your room. I had to put $ on my credit card. It then takes a week to refund your money if the room is ok. i dont know what i would have done if i didnt have a credit card to put it on. The first night there there was no power in the rooms from 2am to 6 am and it was hot! Also, the fire alarm went off in all the rooms for about 10 minutes waking everyone up out of there sleep. When i checked out they gave me a bill of $ in hidden fees ive never heard of. They tried to charge 12$ for some guy to restock the mini bar i didnt even touch. The only good thing about the Casino is the pool, it is awesome. I wouldn't stay there ever again anyway. When i checked out i expressed my concern to the counter girl and she was ignorant and rude. My first time going to Vegas and i dont think i'll go back AC is better! Also, the rooms were filthy i wore shoes on the carpets the whole time. This is so far off the strip you have to take a cab there is nothing around the hard rock

Not What it Used To Be!

Wow! The HRH has gone down hill. Now it's all about maximizing their profit and not about the guest. The fitness area used to be free, now it's $/day (and has a lot of the same equipment). The fridge in the room is so full of stuff they want you to buy you couldn't fit a thing of your own in there. The bathroom counter top is cluttered with 'stuff' for sale. Their staff is clueless about their own policies and rules. Even the sandwiches at the 24/7 dinner are half the size they used to be. It's sad to say because I used to love the HRH (I stayed there four times) but I wouldn't stay there again.
