Not What It Used to Be!

Returned from 12th and final trip to hedo 2 in mid aug. My wife and I have been enjoying hedo since 1987. The food in dining room has taken another downhill turn. The entertainment continues to slide downward. My wife and I are both smokers and was informed that as of june 1 there is no smoking allowed in dining area even though it was only 1/2 full, if that. I was told we needed to go out in rain to smoke. The room with hot tub that my reservation was for and had been made 4 months earlier was not available. So if planning a trip to hedo from past history, do not expect same.

The Party Is Over At Hedo II

At Hedo II, you can no longer be wicked for five minutes, never mind a week.

"Public sex is not permitted at Hedo and any couples who continue will be escorted off the property." - Kevin Levee, Hedo II General Manager told a room full of angry guests.

Nobody goes to Hedo for the rude staff, below average food and boring dinner entertainment. People go to play or watch. To do things they do not do at home. To be wicked for a week.

But, those days are over at Hedo. Now, if your nude wife sits on your lap in the hot tub, the sex police will run up to the edge of the hot tub and ask you to stop.

How romantic to be watched by Jamaica's finest rent-a-cops.

A married couple can' t have sex in public at Hedo anymore, but it's okay for locals to peddle crack cocaine in the disco every night.

This 7-time repeat client will not be back.

Hedo II was fantastic, But...

Hedo II was an absolutely fantastic resort, but do not book this trip with ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE gave us an option of flights that arrived in Kingston as well as Montego Bay. Neither myself or my wife were familiar with Jamaica, so we chose the earliest arrival time which happened to be Kingston. Nowhere on the website did it mention we were arriving to an airport not serviced by the resort and it would cost us a days travel time and over * dollars out of our pocket to get from Kingston to Negril! Once we arrived at the resort the next day, we contacted ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE throught the customer service rep at the resort, and they informed us that "you selected the flights, there's nothing we can do." Be very careful using this website to book a trip. I do not recommend this site for novice travelers! Hedo II had excellent service, very nice rooms, and great staff. The food left a lot to be desired, but we're from New Orleans, so everyone else's food leaves a lot to be desired. The other guests at the resort were the biggest reason we'll definetly be going back to Hedo II.

Best. Trip. EVER!!!!

We are a couple in our early & mid-thirties. Everyone at the resort was very friendly, even the other guests. Most of the guests were older than us, but we had a great time getting to know everyone. We met couples our age as the day went on. Check-in was quick. The food was good (loved the local cuisine & Pastafari). The nude & prude beaches were very clean & the jerk chicken was amazing! The hot tub at night was VERY HOT (in a good way!) :o) It was a Disney World for adults, similar to a Garden of Eden. Definately will return next year and bring along some new friends! I'm having Hedo withdrawals at work, can't wait to go back!
