Best place in jamacia to stay period. Me and my wife travel roughly 10-13 times a year, and every year we stay here. I promise you wont be let down. Im making my trip plans right now for this years trip!
The only thing that kinda sucks is the dumpsters are right on your way to the beach but other than that nothing!

We we're very concerned when we booked our trip. It was our Honeymoon and we wanted everything to be perfect and it was. The staff could not have been more friendly and the food was fantastic. The pool bar was empty most of the time and even though the resort was sold out the week were there it felt like we were the only ones around. X the bartender is awesome and ask for a Land shark with teets at the beach. Dont let the vendors on the beach hustle you because they will.... I had a difficult time with the exchange rate my first day and he almost got me so pay attention...FYI dont exchange your money. Everyone takes American money so save yourself the headache and pay that way. Everything is negotiable and american money makes that alot easier. Pass on the guys on the beach selling horseback riding..its alot cheaper but 80% of your trip is through the nastiest slums you'll ever see, I was very worried. Plan on $30 cab rides if you want to go anywhere. Yeah the beach is across the street, big deal it sa quick walk and its worth it, completly secluded with a bar...tips are included but if you throw the guys a $ here and there they make it worth it. If you get ants in your room at night call the front desk they'll take care of it. bottom line....go here its great, you'll have a great time and we cant wait to go back.

The Resort is beautiful. Although we were bummed out at first because the hotel isnt on the beach and we werent allowed on the beach after 7pm, we still had a great time.
Most of the time we were the only ones swimming in the ocean. Very peaceful and the local people are great! Just watch out for Louie LaMour "King of the Beach" !!!
The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful.
By the way, if you head out to the pool bar, ask Rory to sing you one of his own songs! They are great!
All in all, we had an awesome time and we would definitely go back again!
One more thing, pack some bugspray! The mosquitos are tiny and viscious!!!
Even better than the pictures

My husband and I stayed for a honeymoon. It was the perfect spot. Compared to many other resorts in the area, I felt we had found the superior spot, because of the privacy and open-air feeling of the place.
Room: The room is more like a secluded cottage on stilts. There are two per structure, but you are separated, and I never even heard the neighbors. The sleeping porch is divine. It is the perfect spot to lounge, read, talk, and watch the egrets in the field behind the resort. There were several types of birds that landed on the porch, and little lizards that appeared now and again. Everything was open-you could open the doors to the porch and the wooden blinds on both sides of the room and feel like you were sleeping right in the heart of the island breezes. You could also close it all up and turn on the AC, if that's your preference. The bathroom was very nice-the shower was two-person, with full-body jets. I did not miss a bath.
Staff: The staff was incredible--every single person we encountered from the resort was nice, they all knew our names, and we really felt they went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. They even set up a secluded poolside dinner for us one night. We couldn't have ever asked for better staff or service.
Food: The food was pleasantly varied. I'm a vegetarian, but always found things to choose from. They could stand to diversify a bit more. The "nice" restaurant's dishes weren't as good as the buffet. A minor quibble.
Beach: Stunning, warm water.
The only downside was the mosquitos. We left covered in bites. Would have liked Citronella candles in the room.
