Paris Las Vegas

The Paris Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip is truly captivating. It has everything from a half scale Eiffel Tower, a two-thirds size Arc de Triumph and a replica of the Fountain of Mers. The front of the hotel looks like the Paris Opera House and the Louvre. This is one of the most ornate hotels in Las Vegas.

Upon entering this hotel, I was amazed to see all of the detailing on the inside of the hotel as well. The entrance flooring is marble with large granite medallions. The hotel lobby sparkles brilliantly from all of the hanging crystals on their gorgeous chandeliers and from the intricate mosaic tileImage Hosted by ImageShack.us flooring. There is a pathway that appears to look like an old cobblestone road but it is used to lead tourists to most of the boutiques and restaurants within the hotel. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

While visiting the Paris Hotel you can: take an elevator ride to the top of the tower if you pay the admission fee to "The Eiffel Tower Experience", eat in magnificent French restaurants, peruse the Parisian shops or indulge yourself with one of the many delectable pastries made within the hotel.

The Paris Hotel is such an elegant place to visit. I love visiting it for the enjoyment of its laid back atmosphere and its architecture. It may not be the real thing but it has some fantastic comparisons.

This was an absolutely beautiful hotel! It was decorated like a Parisian village. Our room was large and had upscale decor. The bathroom was quite large with a huge tub and separate shower. The price was great at only $90 a night which was much cheaper than the other hotels on that level.

You have to check out the buffet! Get there as early as possible, because the line gets long. The food was great. So much to chose from and a selection of things I have never had before. The desserts were out of this world.

Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino

After hunting around for a good deal on a hotel, I discovered Paris. I chose it because I was travelling alone, and it was next door to the Aladdin, where the shopping center is, so I knew it would be relatively safe at night.

Coming out of the Paris Hotel, is a half scale version of the Eiffel Tower. As you walk through the casino to get to the hotel lobby check-in area, the "feet" of the Tower are jetting through the casino. It is brightly lit with signs posted in French and English guiding you through the tricky area. The gaming area does seem a bit small compared to the other gaming areas of other Vegas casinos.

My room was up on the 26th floor so my view, although a little obstructed, was very nice, off the lower end of the Strip. There are several elevators but some only go to particular heights while others skip a large amount of floors to jet you up to your higher floor. The room was nicely decorated with comfortable chairs to relax in to take in the view. It was your typical style hotel room. The decor signifies "French" but it didn't make me feel very Parisian.

There weren't too many shops to take in, but there was a good selection of restaurants. I even found an Italian restaurant! For breakfast, there is a little cafe that has excellent food for a great rate (French toast and juice for $5). The Paris is connected to Bally's, so you have the opportunity to see two casinos and shops in "one" large building.

Paris is the best! I've stayed in over half a dozen hotels on the strip and Paris is my favorite. The check-in lobby is elegant with the crystal chandelers and marble floor. Once we got to our room, we were equally impressed with the good-sized room, marble bathroom, and great views of the strip.

The pool is below the Eiffel Tower. The central location in th middle of everything on he strip makes this hotel easily accessible to all other Vegas activities. The casino seems smaller than hte other large hotels, but I feel that is a plus becasue it is easier to find your way around. It seems the Paris does not need to make you lost to stay inside this hotel--unlike the others--it is so classy you don't want to leave.

The small cobblestone boulevard of shops are very true to the Parisian theme, except for the occasional vegas souvenir shops. Located amoung these shops is a boulangerie (French bakery), the perfect place for coffee, a chocolate croissant, and relaxing along the faux outdoor streets.

The room rates are resonable, and this hotel, I feel, is the best place I've stayed in Vegas.
