NOT WORTH THE MONEY

They do not elaborate on how terrible the construction is. You are driving onto the jobsite when you turn into the driveway to get to the entrance. Scaffolding all around you and the road is dirt where the asphalt used to be. The pool area is covered by a large net to stop the construction debris from falling into it. We were supposed to stay for a week, but checked out three days early to get away from the dirt and noise.

Great Service and Location

I stayed at the Jockey Suites with my wife and baby over the weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room itself was perfect for us, as it was spacious, clean and completely free of smoke (non-smoking hotel). Based on older reviews, I was concerned initially about construction noise, but that turned out to not be an issue for us at all. All facets of service were outstanding from front desk to porter to valet. Everyone was friendly and very responsive. It is located on the Center Strip next to Bellagio, so you have quick access to many casinos, including Caesar's Palace, Paris, etc.

Construction warning!

Others have mentioned the ongoing construction next door, but I don't think they have mentioned that this is 24/7, not just during business hours. We finally couldn't stand the lack of sleep and ended our vacation early. Not even ear plugs could drown it out, as the room was shaking from the construction equipment at four in the morning. This is a "tear down" hotel that will be the next one on the strip demolished as soon as they can buy out all the owners. But the location is FANTASTIC. Only stay here if you can get a REALLY good deal and can sleep through a world war, however.

Other than the construction everything was fine. Our room was clean and no noise at night. If you valet park late at night they may be out of spots and a shuttle takes you to a garage a few minutes away to get your car.Pool was closed
