Description: Las Vegas is a city awake day and night but lots of activities and a city were you will never have to get bored. Sleeping is something you can do at home when you are back! There is so much to do and to see, especially for people who love to gamble. When you are looking for a comfortable, affordable hotel from were you can explore the famous Strip, I can recommend the Hotel Paris. At least that’s were we had a pleasant experience.
The Hotel Paris is part of the chain Harrahs. Its located actually on the famous Strip almost in the middle of it. It’s a enormous hotel with almost 3000 rooms. It has been built in 1999 so for Las Vegas standards it’s a bit old. Its certainly impressive. When you arrive you cant miss the large Eiffel tower in front of the entrance. It’s 165 metres high so easy to notice. There is also the Arc de Triumph in front of the hotel.
When you enter the hotel you will notice the typical French interior. The ceilings are heavenly blue with clouds. It looks so real that you almost think you are really outside. The staff is really friendly and since our reservation was known, checking in was done within a few minutes.
The rooms are what you expect from a five star hotel. We had a standard room but still very impressive and quiet large. When you walk in you have on the left the bathroom with marble sink, a bath and power shower and a toilet. The bathroom feels very spacious and luxurious. You get some free toiletries as shampoo and shower gel.
The room itself has a king size bed, a flat screen television, a safety deposit box, a desk with chair and very important air conditioning. It really had everything we needed. I especially liked the bed which was very comfortable and luckily you can control the temperature yourself. There is enough space to put your luggage away and there is extra blankets and pillows. The only negative was the view. We had a view of a wall. So not pretty view over Las Vegas.
But then again we didn’t spend to much time at the room since there is much to do in Las Vegas. You don’t even have to leave the hotel since there is a casino in the ground floor. The casino is massive and very luxurious. I’m not really a gambler so it wasn’t really something for me but I can imagine many people will love this. What I like is that many hotels are connected with each other. Trough a underground system you can easily walk from one hotel to the other one.
We really enjoyed the hotel especially for its location. Its right on the Strip making it ideal to explore the city of all the famous landmarks and hotels. The room was good and the staff was friendly. The only negative was the view on our room. Everything else was great and for that reason five stars.
