We made reservations for a "luxury" room and upgraded to a "strip view" room. We were told that this included access to the "Rendevous Lounge" with concierge services. The room was no better than a standard freeway motel room. In fact, there were less amenities than a freeway motel. There was a charge for local calls and an internet access charge! The TV was old, and the bathroom far from luxurious, the hallway noise ie door slammings, was unacceptable. We usually stayed at the Aladdin, recently converted to a Planet Hollywood. The rooms we had there were indeed "luxury" rooms. The staff, on the other hand, were very polite and efficient. My bill included items such as: "summer leren package", "summer view package."

Not as good as I had hoped

I often have gone to Mon Ami Gabi and loved it! ( and still do) so when I needed a new place to stay in Vegas I thought I would try Paris. I was quite disappointed. First off, If you are a pool person like I am, the pool is quite disappointing. It is quite small and unlike other pools at the other strip hotels I have been to, it was dofficult to find someone to get a drink and there was no music playing so all you heard was the traffic from the strip. The staff was nice, but seemed to be a "fake" nice. I will not stay there again, but Mon Ami Gabi is STILL one of my favorite restaurants!

Magnifico Paris!

Lines at check-in were long, but went by smoothly. Try tipping the front desk person to see if you can get an upgraded view room of the Belagio and the Eifel Tower. If you get the right person, it works. We upgraded to the red room and were quite happy. In comparision to the blue room, the red room has new furnishings, flat screen tv, and a more modern flair. Friends of ours stayed in the blue room and it just looked runned down. Be prepared to shell out major $$$ for food and beverages...but that is all over the strip in Vegas, if you want decent food. We ate at the buffet for breakfast, which I do not recommend! The other days we just had pastries from the little cafe and they were excellent! The pool was very nice. However, if going in the mornings, it doesn't get sunshine until about 11 and the pool is not heated. If it's hot enough, you won't mind, believe me! The hotel is fairly easy to navigate. Usual obsticals of having to walk through the gauntlet of machines, people, and time share people, who are oh so annoying!!! Atmospher is very elegant and very thoughtful. Paris is centerally located on the strip, so it is very easy to get from one hotel to another. Be prepared to do a lot of walking!!! Very good shoes are needed! A few blocks down from Paris is the half-priced ticket booth for shows & events, however, they don't offer all of the main-stream shows. If you aren't that picky, there are some good deals to be had. Overall, it was an excellent stay! Can't recommend enough!

We just returned from our stay at Paris Las Vegas, and it was a pretty nice experience. I've been to Vegas three times before, and staying in Paris was always my dream. While it was beautiful in the casino and lobby, I was a little disappointed in the room. There wasn't a refrigerator, microwave, or coffeepot, which is something that I've gotten used to in less ritzy hotels like La Quinta. We were disappointed to not have our coffee in the morning! But the bathroom was nice and the room was pretty roomy. As for the front desk, they were relatively nice but not always very friendly or helpful. We loved the shops and cafes, and the casino was one of our favorites. I'd recommend staying there, but if you want amenities like a coffeepot or microwave, I'd suggest upgrading from a luxury guest room.

Would recommend staying at The Paris

We stayed at The Paris May 19-22nd and had a wonderful time! The gambling was wonderful, the food was amazing, the buffet was the best we tried at any place in Vegas, the pastries shop was incredible! The only thing that was a little annoying was that the shower wasn't great, the water temperature was never a good temp...Paris was right in the middle of the strip so it was the best location. It was an amazing vacation!
