Our family went through Vacation Homes Unlimited/Super Nova Group to rent a long-term vacation house here in Vegas. We viewed a property and decided to take it. The agent, Bruce Peterson, told us it would take $10,733.25 in deposit and prepaid rent to get into it. We gave him $8,000 in cash, with the rest to be paid at the lease signing. That was put off twice, so another agent, Andres Calvo, had us sign a reservation request. We changed our minds over the weekend and decided we wanted a bigger place. Monday morning we phoned, faxed, and emailed our cancellation request, less than 24 business hours later. No response until Wed. Bruce Peterson tells us he will only refund half, we tell him that our attorney reviewed the paperwork and he has no legal right to keep any of our money, he says sue me. Our attorney says it can take up to 2 years and cost $3,000-5,000 to litigate this. VACATION HOMES UNLIMITED/SUPER NOVA GROUP STOLE OUR $8,000 and are refusing to return a cent of it. BEWARE of this company and ANDRES CALVO and BRUCE PETERSON!!
