Bruce Peterson and Andres Calvo of Vacation Homes Unlimited/Super Nova Group STOLE $8,000 from us!! We signed a reservation request to rent a house through them, gave them $8,000 cash and a check for $2,733.25 for prepaid rent, decided we wanted a larger house, and cancelled the reservation less than 24 business hours later. Bruce Peterson called 2 days later and refused to give us our money back. Luckily, the check was filled out wrong, or they would have stolen that, too. Our $300-an-hour attorney says that they have NO LEGAL RIGHT to keep ANY of our money, however it could take up to 2 years and $3,000 to $5,000 to litigate!
