I loved the other Sheratons, this one in particullar IS NOT a real Sheraton.
The staff was rude, they didn't care about a thing. rude mos of all, uncourteous
The room was fine, bathroom, with no ventilation...horrible.
The main entrance and lobby was very 80's, the pool was closed, and the concierge very unhelpful, nobody cares.
I will never stay in this horrid hotel again

Clean room /shuttle service to LAX on time and quick. Good value for an airport hotel-well appointed lobby and rooms.

Very nice employees and pretty hotel. Bed very comfy!
The only problem was there were ants in bathroom. Not a lot but a few here and there and I couldn't tell where they were coming from. I checked in late and didn't want to move so I decided as long as they stayed in the bathroom, I was good. It wasn't very nice to have them on the coffee area and the towels. I let the desk know they should take care of it before they had someone else stay there. Besides that, I would stay there again!
Very Disappointed

Called ahead to let the Hotel know we would be arriving late, we were assured that this would be no problem. Upon arrival at 2:00A.M. after a 6hr. drive we were told that their parking lot was full, they finally did resolve it allowing us to park in Valet. After checking in we went to our room and discovered that they had given us a regular room with 2 double beds instead of a Deluxe King which is what the reservation was for. Back at the front desk the staff person argued with me that the reservation was for 2 doubles, which I had my print out from online travel website. The only room they had left was Handicap Accessible room with a King bed, which we gladly took since it was almost 2:45 A.M. We finally went to sleep about 3:00A.M. ***AT 8:00 A.M. we were awoken to someone knocking on our door and the hotel phone ringing. The person at the front door Hotel Maintence, the person on the phone Hotel staff telling us that they thought there was a water leak coming from our bathroom. They insisted that we let maintence in. I explained to the Hotel staff person we had 5hrs sleep, while she did apologize she still said we need to let maint in to check. So my husband and I quickly dressed and let the maintence person in. The maint. person checked our bathroom which was completely dry. He also apologized for any inconvenience. I did take the time to fill out the hotel rating card in the room. From the Parking to the wrong room to the early wake up maintainence call, we will not ever reccomend or stay at this Hotel again. They need to change the rating for customer service at this Hotel,
Terrible experience at this hotel - April 2009.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days in April 2009. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I paid extra to have a room with a King size bed but the room we received had 2 Queen sized beds. We asked the front desk to correct the error but when we got to the "new" room we found a plate of food and an envelope with another person?s name on it. We called the front desk and were told the plate was for the previous night?s guest who never checked in.
The shower is tiny and the showerhead is too powerful the small area so we had water all over the floor. Making adjustments for the poor design, I showered, got dressed and began preparing to leave the room when the fire alarm went off. We called the front desk and they asked if we had recently showered. It seems that the fire alarm going off due to shower steam is a common occurrence at this hotel. As a side note, the towels were horrible.
Every time we came back to our room our keys would not work and we had to go back to the front desk and have the keys re-magnetized. The front desk told us that the keys may have become demagnetized so we took extra precautions to make sure that we did not put the room keys near credit cards, cell phones, etc but every time we returned the keys would not work.
The doors are very heavy and as a result they slam whenever anyone uses them. The bed was fine but the pillows are filled with down.
I would definitely not stay at this hotel again I will stay at the Sheraton Gateway.
