The hotel is well located for Hollywood. Nice property with a pool in the center court. Had a small room with connecting door for the first night and although located to the side of the building very noisy, a problem with many LA locations.
Was able to change to a larger room at the back which was much quieter. Well appointed with a large king-size bed, living/dining and kitchen area. The bathrooms could stand an upgrade, the kitchen had newer equipment.
Staff was friendly and the free breakfast adequate for my requirements. Overall a nice three star hotel, Guess that's LA!

While we have stayed at Magic Castle before and enjoyed it, this time we were assigned to the tiniest, weirdest room. It had no working phone, and none of the amenities (kitchenette, DVD, coffeemaker) that were listed. When I mentioned this to staff, they said they had no other rooms and could not move us. This remodel was also poorly done: paintpatches in evidence, paint on the Pergo bathroom floor, no caulking around tub, no plugs in bathroom etc.Breakfast was still good, though, and the visit to the Magic Castle itself was very special
