Montreal Sofitel Stay

My girlfriend and I booked a week's stay at the Sofitel hotel in Montreal Canada . The experience was really great. From the moment we arrived we were are greeted by the valet and doorman with all smiles and a genuine willingness to please. Chech-in was prompt and friendly. We booked a 'superior' room, king size bed, that we found modern and very clean. The room was a bit small but cozy. It was a little hard for 2 people to get around each other. The closet could only hold clothes for one suitcase. The bed as inviting and crazy comfy. The bathroom was clean and offer all the amenities one could need. The hotel was located in perfect place for finding fine cuisine, shopping and museums all in walking distance. The was helpful when it came to suggestions on to what to do and where to go. This place is a definite yes, for our picks on where to stay next time we are up for a relaxing get-away.

The Sofitel is amazing. Great location. right on Sherbooke and 2 blocks away from St. Catherine for shopping. The Hotel has a very warm european modern feel. The beds are the most comfortable that i have ever slept in, in a hotel. I would definetly reccomend this hotel for a weekend away or a business trip!

Always love the Sofitel hotels -- feels like home when in a new city. And this was no different -- great place, great restaurant, pleasant staff and pleasant aromas throughout the hotel.

Would definitely return

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sofitel August 30 to September 3. The staff was very professional and friendly. The room was large with contemporary furnishings and a glass shower the length of the bathroom. The comforter was a little too hot for us, but that was the only complaint. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, the Renoir, but did have snacks and drinks on the terrace. Try the fruit salad or the cheese plate of Ontario cheeses--excellent! The hotel is about 2 blocks from the Musuem of Arts. Not as encompassing as the one in New York, but worth seeing. You can't go wrong staying here!

I stayed here with a biking friend on a 3 day motorcycle trip. The staff was great, the room was excellent, and the spa was first rate. Just what we were looking for!
