Holiday Inn Express

Room was really nice. Overall, very pleased. Only problem was that room was very small. I could touch the bed from the door.

Great Value in San Juan

The Holiday Inn Express is in the Condado district of San Juan, which is about midway between the historic Old San Juan and the beaches of the Isla Verde area. It is too far to walk to either of those, so you'll need either a car or the local bus to get around.

Our room was very standard USA Holiday Inn stuff: 2 nice double beds, very clean, nice clean bathroom. The rate included a nice enough self-service breakfast.

We found the front desk staff were pretty friendly and nice as far as check in and out, and were helpful with driving directions and tourist information questions.

We were driving in. It is a little tricky to get to the HI Express and Condado in general. You have to get just the right off ramp. There's a lot of traffic, and we couldn't really spot this hotel from any distance. So bring very good, very explicit directions, and have the other passengers watching out for the hotel. The hotel has a limited amout of reserved off-street parking. We were lucky enough to get the last spot the night we were there.

The Condado district is a very festive and lively area, with a lot of restaurants and clubs, ranging from fast food chains to very upscale options. We felt comfortable and safe walking around here. There are a couple very large hotel/casinos in Condado also. It's a modern, busy, urban area.

We felt it was a good value for the price, compared with many other San Juan hotels and B&Bs.

This was the first time me and my two friends were out of the country together. We don't have tons of money but wanted something nice and in a good location. We got both with this hotel. The staff was very pleasant and our rooms were a good size and cleaned everyday. We did not spend alot of time in the room as the hotel is so close to all the fun we were out alot. We did eat the breakfast there several times and there was a good choice of foods. The staff helped us with directions and cabs, etc.. The pool was really nice and the most beautiful beach is right across the street. Great place to stay on a budget and not feel like you're on a budget cause there's lots of money left over to have fun in San Juan!

We stayed at this hotel prior to departing on a Caribbean cruise, it is well located in the Condado district,a short walk takes you to the beach and shopping. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend it highly, the property is well maintained.

Great location. We recommend it!

We drove in from the Western Coast and were able to get an early check in. The location was central and we enjoyed a walk around the area before headng into Old San Juan. We even went to teh local beach. There were a variety of both "american" and local restaurants. We felt very safe. Parking was only $10.00 per night. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and it was very good. Again, we receommend this hotel.
