This spot is located on the corner of the resort behind the condos. It is so beautiful and relaxing. We were able to enjoy it with other vacationers from Michigan. Be careful though when climbing around on the rocks.

Brilliant. This was the last day of our holiday or we would have made a second trip. The all-inclusive buffet was good, and there were plenty of places to relax in the sun. Loads of fish to see, and we went on the optional boat trip into town (free), which was great but did take up the afternoon.

I highly recommend taking the ferry and spending the day at Isla Mujeres. We rented mopeds and spent the day touring the island. Check out the tortugas, and if you have enough funds, try swimming with the dolphins.

The beach where the scuba diving was done was nice. There was also a shopping area with some real nice shopping and quite a few bargains. To get around the shopping area we rented mopeds, which was fun.

El Garrafon Park is located on Isla Mujeres, about a 30 minute boat ride from Cancun. We paid around $40 each for a package trip to the park. It included the ride, a buffet lunch at a very quaint, clean restaurant, and use of the park facilities (pool, showers, lockers, and some really nice hammocks in the shade).

There is a small charge ($2) for snorkeling. The reef is right on the shore and about 100 yards long. There are very many colorful fish to see of various sizes. I was lucky enough to have an encounter with are very large sting ray (6 foot wingspan).

A short walk to the southern tip of the island is a small Mayan ruin. The views from the path are very picturesque. The hammocks in the shade made for an excellent siesta.
