- If you're looking for a week of fun and sun, this is the place to go. The people who live and work here are very friendly to tourists. The weather cooperated, and we were able to scuba dive and take a catamaran trip to see the whales and dolphins.

- Tenerife holds certain images--sun, sea and less desirably, drunken Brits. I was slightly concerned that this was not a young family holiday. We had a fantastic time though and will go back! It is a great family holiday with many things to do other than the beach.
