The front desk was friendly and the room and breakfast were good. We asked for a roll away at 2:30PM , after 2 calls to front desk and going to front desk at 8:30 PM we received the roll away at 9:00 PM. It was a busy holiday.

The hotel was nice, clean, and had very pleasant staff. The rooms aren't huge, but it's NYC, so that's typical. The free breakfast was really good, but it gets very busy at certain times of the morning and there are long lines to wait in, but it's free breakfast, so you can't complain too much. Just ask the hotel staff what times they recommend for breakfast, and you'll be able to avid the rush. We had very noisy neighbors the first night, but the hotel staff took care of it quickly. The location was so convenient - close to Times Square and the Theatre District. Lots of good restaurants around. A quick walk to Central Park. Close to subway stations, making it super easy to use public transportation to get around town. We took the Subway everywhere. A great value for NYC - would definitely stay again!

This is a very nice hotel and well located. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Nice breakfast in the morning (a good bargain, considering prices in NYC!). Staff were all very helpful - except for the consierge. Do not ask Francois to help you! He gave us a bad recommendation for dinner our first night, his prices for Broadway tickets were much higher than anywhere else, and he recommended the Greyline Bus tour, which was horrible. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and we highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. My wife and I were travelling with our 22 month old. It's proximity to Rockefeller Center, 5th Ave, Times Square, and Central Park enabled us to go out for a few hours and return for nap time. The hotel provided a crib and refrigerator upon request which was especially helpful with a young child. We were really impressed with the breakfast buffet and the coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and apples available all day long - especially after a day out in the chilly weather. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. Not only were the staff very friendly and accommodating, but the other guests were also all very courteous and friendly. The staff all did a fantastic job to make our trip to New York City this Christmas season a wonderful experience!
