From the moment we walked in the door to the very last minute of the trip the service was outstanding. Room service was quick and good throughout the day and night. The pool was beautiful and the service there was also outstanding. The food was plentiful and tasty. The room including the two person jacuzzi was spotless and inviting. The refrigerator was kept stocked as were the liquor dispensers. Our room even had a hammock on the balcony.
A perfect family vacation

We spent Spring Break this year at the Cozumel Palace and we couldn't be more impressed. In fact, we're already planning a trip back in June. Flying into Cozumel is a bit annoying with the barrage of people hawking times shares and the like. My advice, save the money on overpriced transfers and hop in a cab outside and ask them to take you to the hotel. Once there, we were warmly greeted and quickly checked in. The rooms are very nice and spacious (a solid 3.5-4 stars) and well cared for. The thing that makes the Cozumel Palace most special is the staff, who in my opinion is unrivaled at any resort I've ever stayed at and the location offering unbelievable views of the ocean. The other nice thing about this hotel is it's size. With about 170 rooms, it never feels crowded like some of the other larger Mexican resorts. The food at the outdoor evening buffet is delicious and we especially enjoyed Mexican night. If you tip the bartender, the drinks are strong and tasty. The only restaurant we didn't care for was the Mexican restaurant, but maybe we just ordered the wrong things as everything else was pretty good. Of course, I've never seen a high quality ingredients in the islands like we have in the states. As others have mentioned, they have nightly shows which were all great and many activities and tours included in the price of your trip. The hotel if also located next door to Dolphinaris where you can swim with the dolphins. The hotel has special rates for this attraction so I recommend you book through the tour person at the hotel to save big. I highly recommend swimming with the Dolphins. Snorkeling off the hotel dock is wonderful too!

We have recently returned home to San Antonio, Texas after another amazing week at our home away from home, Cozumel Palace. I really can't explain what a true "vacation" it is to stay at this gorgeous hotel and be pampered night and day. Sure makes going home difficult! This was our second year taking our family to the Palace for Spring Break. From the minute we walked in the door and were greeted with cold towels and cocktails, we all took a deep breath and started relaxing. Surely Heaven must look like the view from the lobby overlooking the pool and ocean - all that gorgeous blue! Several of the staff members even remembered us from last year and we greeted them like old friends. Our fabulous activities folks, amazingly upbeat and sweet at all times, (and they are ALWAYS there!). We also loved our bartenders and waiters, and kept them plenty busy! And can I just tell you how much I miss our housekeepers?? Thank goodness we got the "Banana Monkey" drink recipe before we left - our son might have gone into withdrawal if I couldn't make them at home. I keep looking for the Almas de Llevas and Servicio de Cuarto buttons on my phone at home but they aren't there - rats! You NEVER need to leave the hotel b/c they do everything for you. There's a gift/sundries shop, spa, snorkeling... We are in the restaurant business and know that it can be difficult to find great employees. Yet somehow they've managed to hire the most gracious, happy, HARD working people not only on the island, but anywhere in the world! Honestly, we were so sad to leave, having made great new friends and feeling completely refreshed. We're going back next year for 8 days!

The hotel was more than we expected. Everything was great! The best food was the buffet that was served every night. The staff were terrific. There were all kinds of activities to do all day long & there were shows every night such as a fire show, mexican fiesta, 50's - 90's music where they dressed according to the era & danced, a casino night & much, much more. We even got free calling from our rooms back to the states. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that visits Cozumel.
