This is a very nice hotel in a very good location, walking distance to the Great Mile and the Art Institute, (even the Field Museum on a nice day). The rooms are spacious enough with good amenities and quality linens. The pool, jacuzzi and gym area is great to unwind at the end of the day.

Low water pressure in shower, Carpet bubbling up, overpriced room service. Housekeeping good,two blocks to magnificent mile.Business travelers yes,romance no.

The location is the big draw here. Great location. The staff was very helpful, from the concierge being extremely generous with time discussing restaurant information and making reservations, and the reception desk printing out our flight boarding passes. The room was good, very nice bathroom, but we got a super low price for a weekend visit, so we did not have one of the deluxe rooms. Restaurant ridiculously overpriced. Lobby bar small but very friendly service. Lobby extremely small but attractive, like what you would see in a boutique hotel.

Our stay at the Swissotel Chicago was excellent. The room was spacious and the view of Lake Michigan and the river was fabulous. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous.

The guestrooms are generously oversized and luxuriously appointed. My room offered an exceptional view and it was equipped with upscale comforts and modern amenities. In addition, the unique workout center and day spa overlook the city's most spectacular views - from Grant Park and Lake Michigan to Chicago's Magnificent Mile.
