Quote: I was staying in town for a few days for a photo shoot and loved the hotel so much, when my parents decided to come into town for a visit that same weekend, I recommended this same hotel to them (which is saying a lot, considering I'm not a huge fan... Quote: We stayed for a weekend to sight-see, and the location was wonderful. In the middle of everything, and a nice view. We were put in the tower that is undergoing renovation, and were told at check-in that it could be noisy during the day. However, it... Read the full Hyatt Regency Chicago review

Quote: I have stayed here several times for various work functions and have always found it to be very clean and comfortable. The staff are professional and courteous. It is a tad on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Quote: The only thing I can say that wasn't great about this stay was they overbooked the first night so they had to send us to the fairmont and it was a smoking room. It was a great location and the room was great. Can't wait to go back.

Great value when air/hotel packaged

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: I had a business conference and "discount" group rates at the Fairmont (3 nites) one block away which would have cost $1200 total including airfare purchased separately, and the air/hotel package (using the same airline!) through Travelaocity at the... Quote: I was very excited to be staying at a Hyatt thinking I was getting top of the line accomodations. I was quite dissapointed. The room was very run down and in need of updates. The hotel was really big so it felt cold and uninviting. The concierge was... Read the full Hyatt Regency Chicago review

Great location. Very noisy though

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: I was happy overall with the quality of the room, the staff and the location. What I wasn't happy with was the noise. The rooms are not very soundproof, and there was a lot of "building noise" (AC, heaters, etc), that prevented me from sleeping well.
