We were in an holding pattern flying into SFO for about 25 minutes. We were tired! Once in the corridors of the Holiday Inn we were warmly greeted! After explaining that we were their for our 9th wedding anniversary we were offered a grand upgrade! Wow! The view was awesome, the bed was so comfy and the shower was a delight. Everything was cleaned and nicely appointed! That night we showered and went around the corner and ate at Grubsteak! It was awesome and they stay open until 4 am! A great local hang-out! The next morning we went outside the hotel doors to the left to catch the trolley! The hotel gift shop sells tickets....A great location - safe and wonderfully priced and we will DEFINITELY stay here again!

Went with my boyfriend on a weekend getaway. The area is okay, no places to eat near walking distance or at night. BEDS ARE TERRIBLE! After along day of walking up those hills they should really have better beds, they were hard and you were able to fell the wires. Staff was nice, Restaurant was okay but you can get better food for what they charge. Its okay but I would not stay there again. Its more like a family kind of place.

We got a corner room on the 25th floor. Views of the city, bay, bridge, Alcatraz. Food excellent, staff very helpful. Beds comfortable. Would definitely stay there again

No Problems with the Hotel. Got what was expected

This is a fine place to stay.I lived in San Francisco several years ago so I know the area. This is a safe area to walk about.Near all transportation -can get anywhere from here.Some fantastic restaurants on Polk-north of California street towards wharf.Can walk to wharf area.Just a wonderful bargain .I
