This Hotel was very clean, with a friendly efficient staff, for the price. You are alittle off the beaten path south of Market but tours, for instance, pick up at the door so you can get around that. Room was clean and serviceable. Public transportation runs from the hotspots along Market so you are a brief walk south back to this hotel. Two experienced local drivers told us this was one of the best hotels, economically, in town. If you are into the Giants this hotel is very close to the stadium.

The beds are among the very best I've ever slept in - better than my own at home! The staff was always very courteous and helpful, and the room was decent size too. I cannot stress enough how comfortable the beds were! The bathroom wasn't amazing, but was of decent quality. The location is very close to the interstate (about 2 blocks away), and a very short drive to Chinatown - or a long walk. The price I got at the time was amazing, but the normal price is a little out of my budget (I got it for about $&*, but the current avg is $*. There was free wifi, but there was no signal throughout most of the building - I had to go down to the lobby, which was inconvenient. There was, however, a dataport, but I did not have an ethernet cable with me. There is no complimentary parking, although valet is priced average (about $* at the time). The nearest off-street parking is about $* a day. Given the normal price, I expected a minibar and/or a kitchenette. However, overall, I was impressed and plan to stay there again.

Hotel was clean, neat, rooms were too. Close to ballpark, shopping, transportation. We didn't even need our car during the weekend.

This was a great hotel for the price. The room was very nice, although we didn't have a view. Close to the ballpark and Metreon. Would definitely stay here again.

nothing really negative to say about this place. one of the best deals price wise on travel website. you can never go wrong with marriott. clean comfortable rooms, great showers, great service, nice bar, just great overall atmosphere. WILL stay here again next time. try the indian restaurant across the street. its awesome.
