My husband and I just got back from a great week in Branson. We saw eight shows in 5 days, and did lots of shopping. The first show we saw was Kirby VanBurch, he was awesome. If you are into magic, or even if you're not, his show is a must-see. The next night we saw the Circle B Chuckwagon Show, I was not too impressed with this. They need more servers and need to add a little to their show. The comedy portion of it was the highlight. We also saw Darren Romeo that night. He is also a must-see. I was a little weary about seeing a "singing magician," but he was well worth it; if you go see it, you will know what I mean. The next evening we saw the Tall Timbers Lumberjack Show. If you are an outdoorsy person in the least, you need to go see this. Oh, and get the steak… it was the best steak I have had in a loooong time. The next day we saw the Taylor Reed Magic Show… if you don't have free tickets, don't go see it. I was glad we didn't have anything in the show except for for lunch. And that evening we saw the Dixie Stampede, the food was great as always. We were a little disappointed in the show, I guess just because I had seen the one in Pigeon Forge, Tennesse, and expected something different. It wasn't, it was the same exact show.On Friday, we ate lunch on the Showboat Branson Belle, a very good lunch and a very good show… the seating sucked though. We were lucky to have an outside aisle, the people in front of us were practically stuck. They need a different set up for that one also. Friday night we saw Bart Rockett, another magician. Once again, I'm glad that we didn't pay full price for the tickets (we got them buy 1 get 1 free), he was better than Taylor Reed but not even close to Kirby or Darren. We stayed at the Branson Towers Hotel, they were doing repairs and we were always afraid of getting a nail in the tires, other than that it was okay. Hope this helps anyone planning a trip to Branson!!!
