The Wildlife Ranch is by far one of the coolest places that I have visited! It is such an awesome place for animal lovers. You drive up to the gates and you are handed a map and a bag of food when you pay your admission. There is a petting zoo for the children and a gift shop where you can order food and purchase more bags of food along with your typical souvenirs.
Once you have explored that area you start to drive through the self-guided tour of the ranch. It is quite amazing to see all the animals roaming freely. You can stop and watch the animals for as long as you want and you can drive through this park as many times as you want. If you are patient the animals will come up to the car so you can see them super close. Be careful though I almost got my eye poked out by a feeding antelope and his extremely long antlers. Also be careful of the buffalo. He was quite a friendly guy and decided to scratch his rump on our car! The zebra also are very hungry animals and if you don’t happen to be feeding them fast enough they will put their heads into your car and try and steal your whole bag of food. Every time you drive through this park there is always something different going on! It really makes this park unique to every visitor.
We drove through once and it was really nice out and pretty. We then went to purchase more food to drive through again and it started to down pour. Not a big deal we thought oh we can drive through again however it was raining so hard that it was hard to see and we were afraid we might run an animal over. So we waited out the heaviest part of the storm and started to drive through the park all the animals are smart and had decided to seek shelter so I don’t recommend visiting this place if it raining!
