This classy, vintage art deco hotel is in beautiful, pristine condition with plenty of modern updates in the rooms. The friendly, helpful staff provides a wonderful breakfast buffet and afternoon happy hour with snacks. The location is perfect - with a nice interior stairway leading down to the adjacent Riverwalk itself - and only a few blocks from the Alamo. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is very nice and very well maintained. Our room very clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff we dealt with from front desk to valet to wait staff to house cleaning were all very friendly, helpful and easy to work with. Additionally, this hotel is very nicely located in the middle between the Market and the Alamo - 6 blocks either way - a very easy walk.

My boyfriend and I just stayed at this hotel last night, and I rushed to write a review as soon as we got home! As soon as we walked in, I knew we were going to have a wonderful time! X at the front desk helped to find us the best room with the best view, and even talked to us throughout the boring part. She was very helpful and explained the free drink, snack, and breakfast policies. There is a bit of a line, but you can get 3 free alcoholic beverages per adult and the snack bar has good concession type food. The hot breakfast in the morning was very nice as well. The staff were all very friendly, and courteous. I never met someone who seemed to be upset! The room was also very nice and the bed had a nice assortment of different types of pillows. Though the hotel was within walking distance to most of the downtown attractions, my only complaint is that it was on the far end of the Riverwalk. Overall, a very nice place to stay!

This was a great hotel and a great experience. The personnel at this hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was very nice and very clean. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and well prepared and served and the nightly cocktail time included three free mixed drinks and plentiful snacks. This was all included in your room price. The location is excellent and you can walk to the Alamo and any place on the Riverwalk. We would definitely stay there again.

All staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and comfortable, with excellent views. This hotel has a laundry and a good exercise room. The free, hot breakfast is great but repetitive. However, you can squirrel away some yogurt, fruit, and a bagel for a light lunch later on. The rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator. At five p.m. each guest is allowed three free drinks for at a guest social on the second floor. Decent snacks are also provided. The location of the hotel is excellent - easy walk to Market Square and also a downstairs entrance directly onto the Riverwalk. When I go back to San Antonio, I will definitely stay at this hotel.
