We checked in and got our keys in under five minutes. I casually mentioned to the girl at the desk that it was our anniversary weekend and she immediately offered me a choice of wine or champagne and strawberries to be sent up to our room, no extra charge. The staff are really helpful, the room was very comfortable and noise free and the hotel is centrally located to just about everything.
One warning: don't move anything in the little fridge! You'll get charged for it! However, I did call the front desk and they dropped all those charges since we didn't actually use anything. Same with the TV menu. Make sure you don't just "select" stuff: you'll get charged. But again, you can call down immediately and they'll take it off.
Parking costs 23.00 a day if you park it yourself, but is in a covered lot right across the street.
That was about the only surprise, though. The rest was all great!
Very comfortable beds and I highly recommend checking out the "Sky Pool" located on the roof of the hotel, along with the hot tub.
We had a great relaxing time and will definitely return to this hotel.
Great location, friendly staff!!!!

We visited San Antonio for FIESTA weekend and loved the location on the Riverwalk. We were able to walk to many things, like the Alamo, River Center Mall, many restaurants and shops. The trolley stops a half block away from the front door and the river taxi stops out front.
The room was large but the pool was postage stamp sized. The hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms were cleaned very early in the morning, turn down service is available. The front desk staff checked us in quickly and efficiently. Our check-out was handled within minutes even though there was quite a line.
Loved it!!

We visited San Antonio for 5 night in April of 2009. Three nights would have been enough. There is really not that much to do. The main attraction was the riverwalk. The hotel is situated very close to everything....within walking distance. Beautiful hotel, the people were wonderful and very nice. The only thing we were not happy with was the way they cleaned our room...or did not really clean our room.
RECOMMEND TO ALL-April 2009

Great location-directly on Riverwalk. Beautiful weather. My husband and I enjoyed a calm and restful vacation. Restaurants of all types all around you. Scenic sites very accessible to walking. Took a tour of the Hill Country. Other than that spent 4 days walking around the downtown and riverwalk area. The Hotel staff was very helpful and nice. Be use to get a "Save" booklet from the Visitor's Center for discounts to area attractions. Would love to stay again.
