A girls' four day weekend in the Dells. Given we were there over the Thanksgiving Holiday in the off season, many of the attractions and shops best known in the Dells were closed. It was nice to have a weekend of R~n~R away from "the guys".

The Dells is not just a water park destination. In fact, what we did was take a Lower Dells boat excursion; toured the Royal Wax Museum, fun house, and haunted house; and shopped.

It’s been 30 years since I last visited the Dells. It has changed drastically. Old memories flooded back and new thrills were experienced with water parks, three-story go-karts, and roller coasters, as were old favorites, like the DUCKS. It was great to be a kid again for a week.

We try to go every year to the Dells. It is a great weekend experience with enough to do for the weekend. I must admit that the main reason that we go to the Dells is for Noah's Arc, the water park.

We spent a week at the Timbers at Christmas Mountain. It reminded me of Gatlinburg, TN, but about a quarter of the people. It was a beautiful area and had a lot to do for families.

Just two days after my Williamsburg Mother/Daughter get away, my husband and I headed west to the Wisconsin Dells. This pace will either make me old before my time or forever young. Unfortunately our week at the Dells was one of the worst we have had weather wise.

The Wisconsin Dells, 50 miles from Madison, offers the UTMOST in a vacation experience! In summer, the water parks are the "high spot" for the kid in all of us....two great timeshare resort choices are, 1) Christmas Mountain Village, and 2) Peppertree at Tamarack.
