Area little hard to find and not musch around to look at, but there is a shopping mall right behind. The staff was very helpful and really seem to want to make the best of your stay. If you dont want to ride mass transit it is close enough for taxi. Trip to downtown or north end runs around $15. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Go Sox!!

Great Hotel

Ok let me start by addressing the BIGGEST ISSUE with this hotel. Location. it is very hard to find. And don't make the mistake of thinking, "oh, not me, i'll just punch the address into my handy-dandy GPS and it will guide me right to it." Because it wont! Here is how to get there. punch 14 Allstate Rd, Dorchester, MA into your GPS.. this is a Best Buy store. Then go around behind the Best Buy and you will see it. Simple. So simple, in fact, that I don't know why they don't post it on their website. Next thing. There is free parking there, so if you are going into downton or the city you should take the subway.. you will save a load of money!!!! Parking is outragious. Not New York outrageous, but close. The hotel offers a shuttle to the closest subway station. So naturally I ask, well how do we get back? They say "you walk." Hum. If I can walk back, why can't i walk there and save the bogus $5 per head shuttle fee to the station? Simple answer: walk to the station. From the front door to the hotel "the one in the picture" just walk across the lot and that curvy one way street will take you right to Boston St. (if it had been 2 way getting to the hotel from Boston St.would be a snap) on Boston street turn left follow it up to the 3-way intersection of South Hampton, Boston, and Dorchester. You will go over the expressway. about a 3 min walk. Cross the intersection you will see Duncan Donughts. Right past that is the Subway staton. You can buy the pass there and you are on your way. The hotel itself is great. Very clean.

Weekend in Boston

I wento to Boston for a quick weekend from New York. The hotel has free parking which is a big plus. The rooms are nice. Just south of downtown. The hotel is a little difficult to drive to. It is behind a shopping center and a little off the road. Be sure to get directions!! I was able to go downtown within minutes and also went to Fenway for a Red Sox's game all were within a few moments drive. This would be a great hotel for families on the weekend. But I would pay more to stay downtown if I wasn't driving. Not much to do close to the hotel in the evenings. Although there is a shopping center (Target, Best Buy, Home Depot) nearby. The center also has a few chain restaurants. The hotel is also a stop for the trolley that will take you to see the sights if you want to leave the car behind.

A great place to travel. Friendly people and much to see. The buildings are wonderful and plenty of water. Many great pubs and lots of Italian food. A donut place on every corner.

A Surprise Jewel

The hotel's description is misleading, which is a shame. There's no dining room, but they've a wonderful room service available from a nearby restaurant (Italian) and the "Market Place" on-site for cold foods. The free breakfast is tasty and NOT continental. The staff's responsive. Internet access really was high-speed and free. The room was big, spotless, with a couch and refrigerator. The bed was extremely comfortable, the pillows too soft. A/C temperature control was superb. Pool and exercise equipment small but adequate. As a lone female traveller, I felt secure.
