Paradise

We've been to Beaches Negril twice and the second trip was just as wonderful as the first. We were traveling with our son and daughter (17 and 15), and they can’t wait to come back next year. The beaches are beautiful and very well maintained, and the hotel grounds are just as beautiful and pristine as the pictures. We have stayed in the same wing of the resort both times that we have stayed there, and both times our room has been clean and very comfortable. Each room has a mini fridge stocked with sodas, juice and waters. You will want to ask for extra water bottles - we went through them very fast. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff. We were greeted with a beautiful smile and a friendly "good morning" from everyone. The water activities on the beach are abundant, but there is a lot to do outside of the resort too. A trip to Rick’s should be number one on everyone’s list. The cliff jumping is fun and the sunset is breathtaking. I almost had a heart attack when my 17 year old son jumped off of the highest cliff. There are smaller ones to jump off of for the less adventurous. Next year we plan to try the canopy zip-lining and the falls.
One word of caution – BRING BUG SPRAY!! It is hot and humid, and with that you get bugs. Spray on bug spray as often as you would sunscreen, and you should be fine. You should use it at night as well. I recommend that you spray it on before you leave the airport. This trip I didn’t do that, and I had a few bites before we got to the resort. The itching from the bites can make you miserable, so use the spray often!!
This year my children were old enough to go to the Seville (adults only restaurant), and the food there was amazing!
We had a relaxing and amazing time at Beaches Negril, and we can’t wait to go back!!!!!

Fabulously Restful and Entertaining Vacation, Beaches Negril Is the Place!

This was our second trip to Beaches Negril and it was again, fabulous. From the gracious people, the wonderful weather, the fabulous food, the exciting water sports, the interesting culture, to the relaxing water it was all a fabulous trip. Some of the people who work at Beaches Negril need to be singled out: 1) Daniela Pons: Director of Guest Services: lovely to talk with and she gave us hints about other places in the world to visit; 2) Alex: waiter in the buffet, always pleasant, 3) O'Ryan: entertainment: full of energy, enthusiasm, patience, and incredibly talented, 4) Nekeisha Morgan: "Soon Come Back" desk: very helpful, kind, informative, patient with all our questions, and sincere, 5) Andre: watersports: very funny, helpful, and informative about life in Jamaica 6) Fritz: Catering Manager: always had a smile and an answer to any question I had, 7) Dawn: Tour Desk: very friendly, helpful, beautiful smile, all-around nice person.

We were a part of the "concierge" level of the resort which meant we received some very nice perks like a really big room, fully stocked juice/soda/water bar, dedicated staff to help us with anything, etc. The only thing we were not told about when we checked in was that we had a $125.00 resort credit to use at either the spa, the photo shop, or gift shop. We did not know about it until the day before we left and Nekeisha told us about it. We had to scurry and buy some photos and items in the gift shop before we left. Had we known about it, we would have arranged for some special photo shoots out at the beach.

One other hightlight is their chocolate/champagne bar that they held almost every night at 12 midnight. I was unable to stay up that late, but one night they held it at 9 pm. Wow, what a bar! A chocolate-lover's dream come true! Truly, one of the highlights of the trip!

Just Heavenly

Beaches Negril Great Stay and Staff

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at a beaches resort with our 7 year old son. Need I say more?? Last year we stayed at Beaches Turks and decided to try beaches Negril this time around. I can say we were not disappointed. The staff here are friendly, courteous and accommodating (most of them) unlike Turks. Turks is a beautiful property but seems too big and staff may need some guest relations training but overall not bad. We stayed at Sandals Dunns River years ago a found that property to be wonderful. So, as you can see we are not strangers to the Sandals/Beaches family. As soon as you arrived you are greeted with cold towels and a drink after a 1 1/2 hour ride to resort but you can stock up on drinks at the airport concierge lounge before the long ride. There is one official stop between airport and resort but you do not have to take if you don't want to. The property is not too big so everything is in close proximity, food is good but wish they had more of native Jamaican food. Still plenty to eat and drink all the time with a wide variety to choose from. You can ask for bottles of Wine or Champagne if you'd like to have few drinks on your balcony or on the beach. I would recommend scheduling a photo session so bring a set of clothes that you would like to take pictures in, we did this in Turks and pics were great, little expensive to buy pics but once you see, worth it. Lots of activities to do or not. We loved this property and would recommend this to families with children of all ages. If you are a couple without kids I recommend staying at a Sandals, you'll love it.

When we arrived it was raining but this slight disappointment was soon forgottenonce we were escorted to the concierge lounge wher we met Dawn. She checked us in offered a refreshment all in a matter of minutes.
(the sun did come out shortly after)
Erica Allen than escorted us to our oceanfront roomto see if it was to our liking,it was.

Erica advised us of the many amenities to us during our stay and made it very clear that if we had questions or needed anything, dining, shopping, etc. To contact her personally.I did several times and it was done with a smile.
Concierge is the way to go.

The roomsize, bath, balcony were large and decorated well.
Also as important to usone of the reasons we were there, was the beach and it is beautiful.

Resteurant choices were many and I would add, they have it all covered while offering consistant quality.
This was our second trip to a Beaches,2006 to Boscobel with family and grandchildren.
We returned to Beaches for all of the reasons I mentioned, but for us it was the staff who really kicked it up a notch. Our thanks to Carl Hendricks the GM.Well done.

Hope to see you all again.
