1-Star Service from a Supposedly 4-Star Hotel

Ordered a room with two double beds which was confirmed the day before. Received an extremely small room with one full-sized bed. The hotel was full, but they still refused to refund our money to allow our group to find another hotel. So, we had to squeeze a cot into the room. In addition, this visit started with the valets telling me that the ski rack on my Subaru wouldn’t fit in their garage and that they were too busy with the incoming wedding to park my car in their back-up garage. So I had to park it myself and walk 10 minutes in the pouring rain. I was completely unimpressed. There are much better options nearby.

The hotel was in a great part of town and the staff was prompt and answered all my questions. The bathroom was small.
They had free internet, but you had to join their rewards program.

The Omni Parker Hotel in Boston is in a great location. Access to major venues and subway are great. The concierge service was wonderful
Our room however, was very small with only one chair. The view out the window was of a closed in alley way filled with trash, pigeons, and rusting fixtures. We did get charge $20 for use of the items in the refreshment center that we didn't use.

This hotel was very beautiful lobby. Room was a little small but very nicely done. Bathroom was pretty. The view was great. Would highly recommend this property to others. Great location in Downtown Boston near all the sights.
Really good trip to Boston

We took out 9 yr old grandson for a day/night in Boston. He was particularly interested in history, so the hotel's location right on the Freedom Trail was perfect. Apart from the harbor shuttle to Charlestown ($1.75 for each adult, child free), which was fantastic, we went everywhere on foot. Old Ironsides, however, was under full-scale reconstruction and not really worth the trip. Better to wait until 2011, when they are supposed to be done. But definitely get out in the harbor?even for so short a trip.
The staff at the hotel were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The room was small, but nicely appointed. The only gripes had to do with poor sound insulation and perfectly horrible pillows. All else was terrific. A high point for our grandson was ordering Boston Cream Pie from room service. Not only was room service a thrill in itself, but the BCP was unlike any we'd ever had, and vastly superior.
