Small front entrance to hotel lobby

If you are new to Boston and walk quickly, as I did, you may miss the front entrance. This hotel is made for business travelers. It has small rooms ( at least the one I had was small) but it is very comfortable for a few days in Boston. They cater mostly to young students and those of us on a budget. They are in the center of the financial district and within walking distance of dinning and metro transportation. Its a walk from the Amtrak station which is why I chose the hotel. I will be going there again soon.

Club Quarters offers inexpensive weekend rooms to its members for as low as $56 a night. So it is filled with kids and young people. If you are a business traveler or single person or couple with no children, you can expect noise at night. I left something small at the hotel. They wanted to send it FEDEX for about $25.00 and US mail would have cost $1.20 or less. I had to talk to a manager to get the problem sorted out and it was common sense.

Clean, convenient, and reasonably priced

I now am making a habit of staying at Club Quarters hotels when they are available. The theme of these hotels seems to be wireless Internet, working desks, and flat screen TVs in small but clean rooms at reasonable prices. That's often just what I need in a large city hotel, since I am there not for the hotel itself but for some activity outside the hotel. The staff at this location were, to a one, helpful and service-oriented. Oh, and I love the refillable water bottles for my city walking. That is a great amenity that I am sure others will pick up on. All in all, I had a short but enjoyable stay.

The hotel staff was very knowledgeable of the area thus were very helpful. Rooms were some what small but were extremely clean and neat. Very quiet.Location was perfect for the subway and for walking to various historical sites. Free use of cdomputers. Restaurant has charm.
