Dirty Hotel...smells like urine. The casino is not fun or clean. Good location in Condado but pay more to stay somewhere else. You will be glad you did.

First of all the customer service is horriable, the pool was green green green the entire stay, the hotel employee were on strike and were protesting early in the am hours I called the front desk and asked if this was the wake up call that we did not ask for the service, had to wake up at
5 am because of air horns and loud music due to the strike. Talk about roaches and mold this hotel should be called either roach hotel or mold Inn.
Do not rent a car because you would not find parking, unless you pay the security from the Drug store across the street a couple of dollars. DO NOT ever stay in this hotel if there's a hurricane coming even the big bad wolf could blow this place down.
San Juan Cheapie

We went to San Juan a day early before a cruise and wanted somplace "cheap" to spend the night before. For San Juan it is cheap. Hotel needs TLC, both repairs and thorough cleaning. Maids did as well as they cold in our room but carpets needed shampooing, room needed spackle and paint. Front desk staff needs training dealing with customers. Breakfast buffet was meager but better than we've had at more expensive hotels in the area. Location is good, in the Condado district, a block from the beach. I'd stay there again for a night or two, but not an extended stay. I recommend staying there if you want someplace cheap and aren't too picky, just looking for a place to spend a night or two.
PAY THE EXTRA - IT WILL BE WORTH IT

(Not)pay the extra $- it will be worth it. Beds are hard as a board, get ready to see some roaches. You hear every door slam which will scare you at first and wake you. Elevators are slow as you can't imagine, so is the check in process. The complimentary breakfast is toast with ham and cheese and box ceral, 2 fruits, coffee and juice. Good for free. Pool is a joke, the pictures are all outdated, the hotel is run down, no updates and no upgrades. They tell you at checkout - you are to pay $* tax fee per day. Surprise., Surprise.!! Taxis are a rip off, be prepared to be taken for a ride.. Your money.
Very good stuff: great location, 24 hr walgreen across the street, 1 short block from beach and some nice restaurants. The worst hotel i've ever stayed in my entire life, especially my home town of p.R.
Needs improvement...

The hotel was very musty smelling. We only stayed two nights and that was plenty. On the positive side, the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and referred us to some great spring break hot spots. The pool was clean but small.
