I've stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Samstown keeps remodeling and adapting to keep their customers happy. The room is not luxurious but it is always clean and comfortable. The price of the rooms and restuarants and buffet are always reasonable and a great value especially if you are budget conscious. If you come to Vegas for video poker this is the place to play. The Southpoint and Samtown have the best payouts in my opinion, even for nickel video poker. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. I will definitely stay here again.

Sams Town is a great place to go and escape the busy strip. I will have to say, some of the amenities were sub-par. I.E., poolside snack hut did not open, the restaurants close early with the exception of TGIF. The shuttle to the strip is a nice amenity and the proximity to Sam Boyd Stadium is perfect. The Day Spa was great, we had in-room massages!!
I would stay here again.

The staff was terrific, so friendly. The rooms were clean and smelled nice. Plenty of things to do and restaurants to choose from at the hotel. The shuttle bus that runs to the strip is great. Would stay again.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. The first night that we arrived, the fire alarms went off and the information provided was very vague and there never was any explanation or information that everything was ok. We stayed four nights and the entire time that we were there they were testing fire alarms and this was done several times throughout the day. The front desk staff was not friendly and did not want to deal with any concerns and none of them were on the same page when it came to problems or concerns. Our towels were replaced with dirty towels and the bed sheets had holes in them. The buffet was the worst food that I have ever had in Vegas. There is no security in the parking lots.
