We went to Vegas for a competition in the hotel was close to the Cox stadium. The room was surprisingly spacious, clean, and quiet. About 3 blocks from the strip, away from the noise. I would definitely would stay there again.

Convenient location (not too far from The Strip), great spacious rooms and free buffet breakfast. Would definitely stay again. On the flight path for the airport but we only heard planes during the day, not at night.

Surprisingly Great

In this economy, this place is a great find! I have an aunt who lives in Vegas so I could care less about the strip, but the strip IS an easy walk from this hotel and the free shuttle goes there once an hour for drop off/pick up. The shuttle system is great (along with the drivers..especially "Captain" who also cooks up "mean" egg dishes at breakfast in the morning!) Free airport shuttle too! The breakfast is fantastic and may have improved since others wrote as the food was plentiful, fresh and the staff was very efficient at keeping it going. I usually stay at very nice hotels and was a bit worried about downsizing to a simpler place but this place was fantastic. The rooms are large and the beds and down comforters are cozy. Very clean. We were on the top floor so we heard some of the planes in the morning, but it wasn't a big deal. If you think that would be a problem, perhaps put in a request to avoid the top floor. Our room had a view of the strip and at night it was very cool.

OK Location - Needs Work

The hotel is in a nice location if you have business at UNLV. It is very near the Hard Rock so we ate most meals there. Walking from Hyatt to Hard Rock - we did not always feel secure. If you stay here, rent a car. There is a CVS across the street and they also have a small package store. The food was mediocre at best. The "free" breakfast was just all carbs, (waffles, bagel, toast, juice), so if you need some protein in the AM, you have to either walk over to the Hard Rock or pay a high fee for a very small "gourmet" breakfast which is actually just a pre-made frozen thing they heat up in microwave since there is no kitchen on site. There was no lounge or drink service on site, but one of the employees told us they are planning on offering this one a limited basis soon. They had an airport shuttle, but getting it was a hassle. I had to wait a long time. If I had known that, I would have taken a cab - it is not so far from the airport. I think my friend paid less than $10 fare. They don't have a regular Strip shuttle service, but they will take you to Planet Hollywood at certain times of the day. Overall, if you can get this for a very good rate and/or you want to be near UNLV or Hard Rock, it's an OK deal.

Friendly staff, room was perfectly cleaned every day, secure place in good area. We stayed at this hotel a year ago when it was Amerisuites . It became more fancy, free breakfast not so good, but overall we enjoyed our stay. Didn't hear any noise outside, service was very good.
