Relaxing Place & Good Location

We (2 couples) stayed in connecting units located in the new building (Daisy) at the end of May. It is right by the new parking garage though down a ways from the entrance of the complex and minimart/snack bar. But, everything is quite close and just across the street from the new South Point Casino. It had 2 pools & 2 hot tubs in the middle area and 1 pool & hot tub at the front - shady tropical oasis designs and plenty of chairs, towels, and exercise rooms. Each unit had nice sized living areas and huge plush bedrooms & bathrooms plus flat screen TVs in each room! The bedroom has a very plush & comfy King bed and the living room has a couch that is large enough to be slept on by 1 or pulled out for 2 and you can fit a roll-away in the room if available, too. No problem at all with noise but we were on an end unit - seemed quite safe. We had a late check in - so didn't get hit with a timeshare sales pitch -wish I owned one - but, I don't want the annual fees. A car is advisable if you want the whole Vegas experience which MUST include an afternoon/evening downtown - but, the Grandview is a great place to relax when not over at South Point or on the strip. It's definitely a great place for families - with the full kitchen and washer & dryer along with South Point's theaters and bowling alley!

Excellent Suite Hotel

This Hotel Suite is perfect for a couple or Family Vacation. It comes with nice living room, full kitchen, big bathroom space & a really nice view from my bedroom. Everything is provided in the kitchen just in case you want to cook or just dine in. Staffs are friendly, clean room, although the pillow needs replacement. Dring to strips is not bad. Restaurant, walmart, target around the block. We just parked at paris hotel to walk around strips. Great price for a nice suite hotel. I Will definitely come back to stay here again.

Great Place!

We stayed at the Grandview for a Friday and Saturday night. The rooms were very nice, the bathroom was huge, and the Jetted tub in the room was a great ++. The only thing I didnt really like was the commute to the strip. Its about 7 miles away, but goes by pretty quick because its right off the interstate. I thought it was going to be a little closer than it was, but I guess that is my fault. Also I was asked to attend a meeting for the timeshare, I politely rejected, and they did not push it at all. They do offer show tickets, or a certain amount of money comped if you attend. I asked the desk lady what was the best way to the strip and I also asked her a few other questions about directions and ammenities. She was very polite, and helped me tremendously. If this place was closer to the strip, I would stay here again in a heartbeat, but I would prefer the convenience of being closer.

Staff need Customer Service Training

Although the place looks marvelous and exactly as it is in pics, the staff need more training as far as friendliness. As soon as we told them we don't want to attend their sales meetings, their smile disappeared and they almost shove the paper works to us while the other customers who did agree to attend were offered more info and were treated a lot better than us. The two room apt was great for us and another family who came with us. It was great to have doors separating the bedroom from the rest especially when we cooked our breakfast, our clothes didn't smell the food we ate. The place was clean. My other complaint was there was no curtain to block the sunlight in the bedroom (wood blind were not as good as curtain) while they put one in the living room. The parking was limited and although it said 4:00 p.m. check-out on this website, the hotel said 10:00 a.m. and can't be changed. The wall were paper thin like it said in one review. We were awaken by the sound of the jacuzzi tub at 6:00 a.m. I would definitely stay here if another family will join us, but if not, I would stay somewhere else.

Perfect place for vacation. New rooms with a good design. Friends took us there for vacation in their timeshare. We loved it so much, that we bought a timeshare there too. The facility is great, nice and quiet. The personnel is very friendly when you speak to them in person. I had a small problem with the receptionist over the phone, i asked a simple question about a dry cleaners around. At first she was busy to help me but then she gave me a phone number for a dry cleaners a couple of miles away. I just looked around on there was one a couple of blocks north on the strip. Other than that everything was perfect.
