Great Clean Hotel Near Airport - Best Anchorage Airport Hotel!
We were directed here by Alaska locals, and were not disappointed. Everything is expensive in Alaska, so the rate was higher than we had paid at other HIE hotels around the country, but we loved it. Clean, great breakfast, used the laundry. High class managers and operation!
We ARE planning on lots of returns to Alaska and will definitely stay again!

Everything about the hotel was great, except their internet. It is very very slow. It's more like dial up connecting than high speed. As long as you aren't wanting to use the internet much, it's a wonderful hotel.

It started with the front desk and their willingness to let us check in early. They were very accomodating. Traveling with a family of 5, the rollaway was a great option. Nice beds and clean room. Free breakfast buffet made this hotel one of our favorites on our vacation. They alternated bacon and sausage, omlets and scrambled eggs and the kinds of pastries. The standard cereals, muffins, fruits and yogurt were fresh as well. The cinnamon rolls are always a hit. The pool area was nice with a smaller spa. Would stay again. Was the same price as another major hotel chain up the street without buffet. Would pick this one next time. We left some shoes and when we returned to find them, the front desk again was outstanding and helped us retrieve them. They also were pleasant when we asked about local recommendations and their recommendations were a hit! We did Gwennies, too!

The hotel is large, lots of walking to get around. Hotel location is ideal as it is very close to the airport and they shuttled us there for our departure. We walked one block for dinner at an authentic Alaskan resturaunt called Gwennies, good food. Hotels comp breakfast was OK. It was the price of the room that was exorbidant, $* for one night! All other hotels were booked, no other choices.

It was everything i expected and more, very friendly and accurate service calling cabs and answering questions...
Breakfast was very good opens at 6AM and a very decent spread for people who are conscious about nutrition and worried about kid friendly menu
Beds were excellent and most comfortable shortest stay
The staff is good about calling cabs and helping you out too...
They will pick up from the airport, it is only a couple miles from the airport
and very convenient to get on the buses to go to Seward
