Small 6 story hotel which I thought was more welcoming than the larger counterparts. Close to the tube and bus lines. The Big Red Tour Bus stops a block away. Restaurants nearby. Two 24 hr. grocery stores nearby if you want to get breakfast items, etc. Room refrigerator was a bit small to hold much but since there was a 24 hr. store a block away, we got some deli meat and bread for sandwiches to take along on an all day tour. There is also cooked food at a grocery store across the street for those nights that you just want to stay in and relax after walking around all day. The staff was very helpful. We had a very pleasant stay.

Gloucester Station, Boots (pharmacy), Garfunkel's (reasonably priced restaurant) & Waitrose (grocery) are literally across the street from the hotel. Our room had a garden view and the staff we very helpful. The concierge were very efficient, friendly & helpful. Join a bus tour that will take you around central London and enable you to hop in & out of the bus for pictures & enjoy attractions. This ticket is valid for 24hrs from the time of purchase and is coming out cheaper and more convenient than taking the tube or bus yourselves. The trio museums, Harrod's, Marks & Spencer, patisseries, restaurants, shopping are all within a 10-20minute walk. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was a good idea on our first day especially traveling with kids and a full day tour ahead of us. If given the chance to come back to London, we will definitely stay at this hotel again!

This smaller hotel was clean, orderly, and the conceirge staff extremely helpful. We didn't use the dining facilities. The hotel was in a nice neighborhood with the tube steps away. We also found the grocery store across the street useful (rooms have fridge). I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in London.

The Hotel is wonderful and the location is great. The tube entrance is right across the street giving you access to anywhere in London. The location is safe and clean. There are numerous restaurants and shops in the immediate area and you could eat at a different restaurant every night and never have the same type of food twice. The staff was wonderful. The concierge was very helpful. The room was a bit small but accomodated a family of 4 very well for 5 days. The only complaint was a problem with in room internet service but it was resolved by the staff. I love this area of London because it is primarily a residential area with lots of small shops and restaurants. Perfect for a family vacation or romantic get away. I would definitely stay here again.
Loved the Kensington Area

I just returned from traveling to London with my 15 year old daughter, her friend and my 7 year old daughter. We upgraded to a suite at the hotel which was a loft with a spiral staircase. Too fun. The Tube access is across the street. The area is full of restaurants, groceries and a pharmacy. We walked up to Hyde Park and all around. It was safe, people were friendly and my 15 year olds even wenet on the Tube themselves: up to Harrods at Knightsbridge and Picadilly Circus area. We had a ball. I am so glad for the previous reviews because that is what convinced me to stay in that area.
