Great location and staff

We stayed at the K+k Hotel George for one week in June, 2009. The location of the hotel is so convenient to the Earl's Court underground station for the Picadilly and District lines, yet is on a very quiet street. It was close to restaurants, groceries and pharmacies, coffee shops, etc. The rooms were very clean and the staff helpful in all ways. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location near Piccadilly Line Underground; several museums nearby.

tiny room for two but adequate in the essentials. Courteous and helpful staff. Handy luggage storage for early arrival and late departure. Security-minded - key card also operates elevator.

terrible,rude staff

only good thing about this hotel is the location. And they take advantage of this by being rude.we stayed three nights here. The room was like a box.If you open the suitcases, then you have to jump over them to get to the other bed.Dirty, smelly hallways, slow, sluggish elevator. Many features listed on their website were no where to be seen. For example, mini efrigerator?Where was it?Worst of all was the attitude of its staff.Check in staff people were unpleasant and unhelpful.A senior manager or whoever it was had guts to barge into our room early morning unannounced.Without introducing himself,he gave me some order.I will never ever ever stay in this hotel again.Nothing one bit special about this hotel. They do their business based only on their location. There are many other hotels in that good location.I was assured about a cancellation. Was shocked to see it charged on my credit card when the bill arrived.Very very unpleasant stay, complete waste of money and the trip which was supposed to be pleasant and memorable in a good way because of the rude staff of this so called four star hotel.Four stars? They don't deserve two stars.

The front desk was able to check us in early, and the concierge was extremely helpful. The hotel is close to the tube and has some nice restaurants within a block.

When they say that you can't check into your room until a certain time, they mean it! I was two hours early and was told that my room was not ready but if i wanted to upgrade for more money i could have a room right away. I felt that i was being offered a "bait and switch". Luckily they have a baggage room so i left my bags there and took a walk around until I could check in. The room was very clean and the hotel was in a great location for me.I was a little surprised to open the "fridge" and find a bottle of water left from the previous resident though. I was a block away from the tube station and within walking distance of museums and parks. There are markets very nearby and nice restaurants as well. The concierge was very helpful when i had problems calling a friend in England, and also answering any questions that i had.
