Really Nice!

My husband and I wanted a nice place for a quick get-a-way to relax and see some of the sights and shows in Branson. We didn't need a full one or two bedroom condo and found that Fall Creek Resort also offers a suite which was absolutely perfect for the two of us. All of the amenities of a condo, just smaller. Tastefully decorated with top of the line linens made our stay both romantic and relaxing. The front desk was very professional, friendly and helpful during our stay. We also loved the location. Close to everything we wanted to see and do without being in the busy traffic areas. The gounds of the resort are beautiful and offered play areas for children , minature putt-putt golf and tennis court. We will most definitely stay again!!!

Never again!

The reason we decided to go with this resort was because of the easy access to Lake Taneycomo. We saw the pictures of the nice marina and thought it'd be great. When we got there they gave us a map of the property and it showed where the marina was, it also showed a trout dock and other amenities around the marina. When we went to look for it we couldn't find it. I'm not sure if it floated away or they just did away with it. There was a fence up around the whole property that wouldn't allow access to the lake. So if you're looking for a place with a marina and access to Taneycomo this isn't the place for you. There is a huge list of items that are inside the room and it said to go over this list and make sure nothing is missing so you won't be charged for it. We never did this just because of the time it would take to actually do this. Also wi-fi access was not free. There was a daily charge to use it. If you like room to be clean after a day of sight seeing you might not want to stay here. They don't come in and clean your room, make your beds or empty trash. These are all things you must do. Overall the studio room we stayed in wasn't bad... I guess the best thing about the place was that it wasn't on 76 so you didn't have to deal with all of the traffic. Other than that it wasn't a great place. So just know what you're getting into before you book a room here.

Won't stay again

The room and bed was nice but extremely small, and on the third flood with no elevator. We stayed in a studio room. It had a small kitchen in it, which we didn't even need. If you wanted wi-fi you had to pay for it. There was a sheet in the room which had an inventory of everything in the room including the knifes forks and spoons that was there. It made me almost afraid to use the bar of soap. If you went to the pool and wanted a towel that required a 10.00 deposit as well, we didn't. They had a 4:00 check in and a 10:00 check out, we got there around 11:00 that morning and they couldn't seem to be able to make any arrangments to get us into our room any earlier, so we had to spend the whole day in Branson driving around with our belongings in the car, that really sucked. I never had a hotel do that before, usually if your room isn't ready they will get it ready as quickly as possible.

Charged for Wi-Fi

I've stayed here several times in the past & each time I kick myself for paying $$ to hear my neighbors talking in a normal tone of voice. The walls are so thin, you can hear every conversation. But my frustration this time was now they charge for Wi-Fi, an essential service required for the business trip I was on. I'm not paying $8/day for wireless 'net when I can get it free down the street at a real hotel. I had to get up before my meetings, drive to Panera Bread & get online there. Won't stay here again.

I have stayed at this resort >7 times in the last 2 years. online, but this will be the last time. I have the same frustration every time, which is the walls are so thin I can always hear my neighbors talking in a normal tone of voice. I heard an entire conversation on a cell phone. But my biggest beef is this time, I could not access the Internet, which was essential for my business trip & the purpose of my travel there. I'm not going to pay $8/day for Wi-Fi, so I had to drive to a nearby Panera Bread before my meetings just to get online. When I arrived, the a/c in the room was down & for the first 2 hrs there, it was 79 degrees in the room. It was fixed, however.
