Every night around 10:30, entertainment is available in the show lounge. The shows are well attended and the young, multi-national guests tend to get involved. If you sit up front you will soon find yourself on stage. Five of the 7 nights audience participation is a big part of the entertainment - newly-wed games, dance contests, etc. The MC was full of energy and fun, but this sort of thing paled on us a bit after the 2nd night. My favourite was the folkloric show Sunday night, which featured members of the staff and professional dancers in VERY exciting and well-done Dominican folk dancing. There was a magician one night who was pretty good. The lounge is a beautiful open area, bathed with ocean breezes, and the drinks are great (and free) with very good service. Be warned, there are small sand flies that come in off the beach, and they bite. Bug spray or long pants will protect you.
