- We like Punta Cana for its beautiful beaches. This vacation was spent at the new all-inclusive Riu Palace.

- My wife and I traveled with cousins and friends to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was a reasonably priced trip that consisted of round-trip airfare and a 7-night stay at the all-inclusive resort, Iberostar Dominicana. The resort, beach, and surrounding countryside are absolutely beautiful. The people were extremely friendly.

- We generally are not fans of all-inclusives. We feel that you miss out on the local flavor of the country.
Since Punta Cana is a newly developed resort area it lacks shops, restaurants, clubs, bars, discos, and convenient transportation.
All-inclusive is the only way to go.

- This is a horrible place. It felt like we were in the slums. We have been to this island several times and have never encountered a place like this. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
